How does LuviBot choose a model?

LuviBot reads the current catalogue, keeps the models that can do your job, and recommends first the ones with a prompting guide on their page. It turns to another model only when none of those can do the job, or when you name the model yourself.

What it looks at

  • The current catalogue. LuviBot works from the list of models available to your account and from this help center, not from what it remembers about AI models, which goes out of date quickly.
  • Your job. It keeps only the models that take the input you have and make the output you want: text to video, a photo edit, a talking head, a voice, and so on.
  • Your rules. Models you have asked it to avoid are left out.

In which order

Among the models that can do the job, LuviBot recommends first the ones with a prompting guide on their page: LUVI's own manual for that model family, which LuviBot follows when it writes the prompt. The help article Which AI model should I use? lists the families in the same order.

Some jobs have no model with a guide yet, such as talking heads from a photo and a voice, lip-sync, voices and music. For those, LuviBot recommends from the models that can do them.

When you name a model

If you ask for a specific model, LuviBot uses it, even when it would have suggested another one.

Some models belong to a plan your account can't use. LuviBot skips them, and its steps show Skipped a model that isn't available to your account.

After it chooses

LuviBot reads the model's settings and its prompting guide, writes the prompt (in English, unless you want text in another language on the picture), checks it against the guide, and prepares an approval card. The price on the card comes from LUVI's billing, and nothing starts until you press Generate (or the card falls under your auto-approve limit).

Frequently asked

Why did it recommend a different model than last time?

The catalogue changes as models are added or retired, and LuviBot reads the current list each time instead of relying on memory.

Can I stop it from suggesting a model?

Yes. Tell it "never suggest model X" and agree to save that as a rule. The model is then listed under Models to avoid in Rules & limits.

Can I use a model it didn't recommend?

Yes. Name the model and LuviBot uses it, as long as your account can use it.
