How do I sign up with Google or with email and password?
Press Sign up on the landing page and choose Google or an email and password — both create the same LUVI account with the same 1,000 welcome credits, and you can add the other sign-in method later from your profile.
Two ways in
LUVI's sign-in window opens over the landing page. It has two tabs, Sign in and Sign up, and each offers the same two methods:
- Google. Press Continue with Google, pick the account, and you land in LUVI. No confirmation email is needed.
- Email and password. Enter your name (at least 2 characters), your email and a password of at least 8 characters, typed twice. LUVI then sends a confirmation email; the account works as soon as you open the link in it.
By continuing you accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice — both are linked under the buttons and open in a new tab.
What every new account gets
- 1,000 credits, added the moment the profile is created and listed on Account → Billing as a welcome bonus.
- 10 GB of storage.
- The free plan: pay as you go, no subscription.
Adding the other method later
You are not locked to your first choice. On Account → Profile → Connected accounts you can link Google to an account you created with a password, or remove one of the two methods — LUVI always keeps at least one so you cannot lock yourself out.
If Google says the email already exists
That means an account with that address was created with a password first. Sign in with the password, then link Google from Connected accounts. The details are in Why does Google sign-in say my email already exists?

Is one method better than the other?
No. Both give you the same account, the same credits and the same features. Google skips the confirmation email; email and password lets you sign in without a Google account.
Can I use both on the same account?
Yes. On Account → Profile, under Connected accounts, you can link Google to an email account or keep both methods active.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Every new account starts with 1,000 credits and stays on the free pay-as-you-go plan until you buy credits or pick a plan.
