How do resolution and duration change the price?
Video models bill per second, and most multiply that rate by resolution — Seedance 2.0 charges 0.465× at 480p, 1× at 720p, 2.25× at 1080p and 5.13× at 4K — so a 10-second 1080p clip costs about four and a half times a 5-second 720p one; the Workspace estimate updates as you change either.
Per second, times resolution
Almost every video model on LUVI prices a clip as rate × seconds × resolution factor. The rate is the model's base price at its base resolution; the factor comes from the vendor's own price list:

Duration is clamped to what the model accepts (Seedance 2.0: 4–15 s; 2.5: 4–30 s). Seedance also adds one frame to the billed length, which is why a 5-second clip shows as 5.04 s on the estimate.
Worked example, Seedance 2.0 text-to-video
- 5 s at 720p (the default): 1,952 credits.
- 10 s at 720p: roughly 3,900.
- 5 s at 1080p: roughly 4,400.
- 10 s at 1080p: roughly 8,800.

Models that bill on something else
- Lip-sync and dubbing (OmniHuman, VEED, sync) bill per second of the audio or video you upload, not of the output.
- Text-to-speech bills per 1,000 characters of text, linearly — no rounding up to whole blocks. Seed Audio bills per minute of speech.
- Speech-to-text bills per minute of the audio you upload.
- Image models bill per image; some add a small fee per reference image attached.
How to spend less
Draft at 480p or 720p and at the shortest length that shows the motion; render the final at the resolution you will publish. The prompt does not need to change.

Does generated audio cost extra?
On Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, HappyHorse, MiniMax H3, Gemini Omni, Grok video and FLUX 3 Video it is included. On Veo 3.1 the standard model doubles with audio on and Fast adds 20 percent.
What if I do not pick a duration?
The model's default is used — usually 5 seconds. A model that accepts "auto" length bills its maximum, because the provider does.
Is the estimate the final price?
It is the ceiling. The charge is settled against what the provider actually billed and can only be lower.
