What can a co-leader do?
Everything the leader can: invite and remove members, promote or demote co-leaders, and share any team member's project — the only difference is that a co-leader does not appear in their own member list.
Same powers as the leader
A co-leader manages the team exactly as the leader does:
- invite people by email and remove members;
- promote a member to co-leader, or demote a co-leader;
- open the Share dialog on a project owned by any team member and share it with teammates, or unshare it.
What is different
A co-leader is still a member of the team, so their own row is hidden from their member list — you cannot remove or demote yourself. The leader remains the person who created the team and the only one who can dissolve it.
Why the role exists
Agencies and studios usually have one owner and one or two producers who run the day-to-day: onboarding a new editor, sharing the client's project with them, taking access away when the job ends. Co-leader gives that person the keys without transferring ownership of the team or its projects.
