How do I free up storage space?
Delete files you no longer need — they leave your quota the moment they enter the trash — or raise the cap with a storage tier (50 GB for $5, 100 GB for $10, 500 GB for $50, 1 TB for $105 a month) or by switching on metered overage at 1,500 credits per extra 10 GB block.
Deleting
- In the Library, select what you no longer need — Cmd/Ctrl+Click to pick several, Shift+Click for a range, or drag a rectangle.
- Press Delete. The files move to the trash and stop counting against your quota at once.
- They can be restored for 24 hours from the Trash view; after that they are purged.
Videos are the biggest wins: a 4K master plus its scrub and playback copies is far larger than any batch of images.
Sort by size to find the heavy files
Switch the library to list view and sort by Size. The largest originals — usually long 1080p or 4K clips — come first.
Raise the cap instead
Account → Storage → Storage tier offers monthly tiers:

Checkout is on Stripe; the quota rises when the payment is confirmed. Cancel any time and the quota drops back to 10 GB at the end of the period.
Or pay per block
On the same page you can opt into overage charges: 1,500 credits (about $1.50) per started 10 GB above the cap, deducted on the 1st of each month. The first month above the cap is free. Uploads keep working as long as your balance covers the charge; if a monthly charge fails, uploads pause until you top up.
Before deleting
Download anything you want to keep. Originals are always what you get; generated previews are never offered because you can regenerate them.

Does the trash still count?
No. A trashed file stops counting immediately, even though it can be restored for 24 hours.
Can I keep the originals somewhere else?
Yes. Download originals first — the download modal gives you the original file, and bulk downloads arrive as a ZIP.
What happens if I cancel a storage tier?
The quota returns to 10 GB at the end of the billing period. Files above the cap are not deleted; uploads pause until you are under it again.
