How do I read my storage usage, and what counts?
Account → Storage shows your usage against your quota, split by type. What counts is the files themselves, every result you generated and every file you uploaded, not the previews LUVI makes of them; files in the trash stop counting immediately.

- Account → Storage shows the total against your quota, a breakdown by type (Images, Videos, Audio, 3D, Uploads, Team Pool, Other), the format distribution and your storage tier.
- The dashboard repeats the total.
What is counted

The quota is 10 GB on every account by default.
Previews are free
After a video lands, LUVI makes a 480p scrub copy for frame-accurate scrubbing and a 720p playback copy for phones; every image gets small WebP previews for the grid. They are stored next to the original but do not count: only the original's size does.
What happens at the limit
Once you reach 90% of your quota you receive a warning email, at most once a week. At the quota, new uploads and generations are blocked until you free space or buy a larger tier; nothing you have is deleted. The options are in How do I free up storage space? and How does storage billing work?
Frequently asked
Do previews and thumbnails count?
No. The grid thumbnails and large previews LUVI makes of your files, and the scrub and playback copies of your videos, are not part of the total. The one exception is a 3D model: the preview image made from it is counted with it.
Do Team Pool files count for me?
Team Pool copies count on the quota of the team's leader, whoever added them. If you lead a team, everything your members put into its pool uses your storage; as a member, sharing a file into the pool does not use yours.
How fresh is the number?
Usage is recalculated at most every five minutes, so a large deletion can take a few minutes to show.
