How do I read my storage usage, and what counts?
Account → Storage shows how much of your 10 GB you use, split into images, videos, audio, 3D, uploads and other; every file you generated or uploaded counts, including LUVI's own previews of it, while files in the trash stop counting immediately.
Where to look
- Account → Storage shows the total against your quota, a breakdown by type (Images, Videos, Audio, 3D, Uploads, Other), the format distribution and your storage tier.
- The dashboard repeats the total.
- LuviBot shows a storage card once you pass 9 GB.

The quota is 10 GB on every account by default.
Why a video takes more than its size
A video is stored with two extra copies: a 480p scrub proxy for frame-accurate scrubbing and a 720p playback copy for phones. Together they add roughly a third to a 4K master. Images add three small WebP derivatives, usually well under 1 MB in total.
What happens at the limit
Between 9 GB and 10 GB you receive a warning email once a week and the LuviBot card turns amber. Above 10 GB new uploads and generations are blocked until you free space, buy a larger tier, or opt into metered overage. Frequently asked
Do previews and thumbnails count?
Yes. The small preview copies LUVI makes for the grid and the player are stored next to the original and are included in the total.
Do team-vault files count for me?
Files you put into the team vault count on your own quota, because you own the copy.
How fresh is the number?
Usage is recalculated at most every five minutes, so a large deletion can take a few minutes to show.
