Tags and ratings

As your files pile up on LUVI, the best ones get harder to find. In this video, I'll show you how to tag and rate your files, and how to use tags and ratings to find what you need fast.

To tag a file, right-click it in your Library and choose Edit Tags.

Type a tag and press Enter. To add several at once, separate them with commas.

Click a tag to remove it. Press Shift and Enter to add what you've typed and close the window.

Images also have an Auto-tag button: AI looks at the picture and adds tags for what it sees.

Select several files and open the same window, and your tags go on all of them.

Tags don't show on the cards. You'll find a file's tags and rating in its Info window; the shortcut is Command or Ctrl and I.

Where tags really pay off is search: type a tag in the search box, and every file with that tag shows up.

To rate a file, click one of the five dots under its card. Click the same dot again to clear the rating.

You can use the keyboard, too: select files and press a number from one to five, or zero to clear. Every selected file gets the same rating.

Sort with the Stars button, and your highest-rated files move to the top.

It works the same way in the workspace: open a result from the library at the bottom and press a number, and your rating flashes up in the middle of the screen.

Tags have one more job. Tag a character image with the character's name. Drag it from the library into the reference area and type that name in your prompt: it turns into a teal chip, and when LUVI generates, it ties the name to that reference image.

In short: tag and rate your files, and your best results are always within reach, whether you search or sort.
