Credits and pricing
See what a generation will cost before you run it, keep an eye on your balance, and learn how top-ups, plans and promo codes work.
What this video covers
Every generation on LUVI is paid for in credits. In this video, I'll show you how to see what a generation will cost before you run it, where to keep an eye on your balance, and how top-ups, plans and promo codes work.
In the workspace, the estimated cost sits right above the Generate button. It's worked out live from your current settings, and any plan discount you have is already included.
Change the duration, the resolution or the number of outputs, and the estimate updates straight away. If a model needs a reference, the cost appears once you've added it.
A generation that fails costs you nothing. Credits are only taken when a generation completes successfully.
If your balance won't cover a generation, it doesn't start, and LUVI shows you how many credits it needs and how many you have.
Your balance sits at the bottom of the sidebar on every page. When it drops below a hundred credits, a red dot lights up next to it.
To top up, go to Account in the sidebar. The Account stats card shows your balance, roughly what it's worth in dollars, and how many credits you've bought and used so far.
Click Top up credits, then pick one of the preset amounts or type your own. A thousand credits cost a dollar, you see the total before checkout, and Continue to checkout takes you to a secure payment page.
If you generate regularly, a plan can work out cheaper. On Basic, you pay as you go. Creator, Pro and Studio add credits to your account every month, for less than topping up the same amount. If you run out, you can still top up.
The info icon shows how many generations a plan's monthly credits get you on each model.
Click a plan, then its Choose button, and checkout opens. For Enterprise, you get in touch with the sales team.
Got a promo code? Type it into the field under the plans and click Apply. Depending on the code, you get bonus credits, a discount on future generations, or both, and that discount shows up in the estimate too.
You can follow your spending in the Transactions list on the Billing tab: every generation is listed there with its model, the credits taken and the balance left.
In short: check the estimate before you generate, keep an eye on your balance in the sidebar, and top up or pick a plan to suit how you work.
