Why was I charged once for a generation with several files?
Some models price the job rather than the file — a music model that returns two tracks, or a video model that also returns its last frame — and LUVI charges those once; models priced per image or per output multiply by the number of results you asked for.
Two ways a model is priced
Per job. The provider quotes one price for the whole run, whatever it returns. Music models return two tracks for one price; some video models return the clip plus its final frame as an image. LUVI charges that price once, no matter how many files land in your library.
Per output. Image models and most single-file models price each result. When you set the number of outputs to four, the estimate is four times the unit price and the charge is one line for the whole run.
The model page's price card tells you which: per clip and per generation are job prices; per image is an output price; per 1,000 characters and per minute scale with your input, not with the file count.
How LUVI decides
At charge time LUVI looks at the model's price unit. If it is a job price, the count of returned files is ignored. Otherwise the number of outputs you requested is used — the same number the estimate used, so estimate and charge stay equal.
Reading the ledger
Account → Billing → Transactions shows one line per generation with the model, prompt and project. Through the Claude or ChatGPT connector, every file of that run reports the same creditsCharged; the tool description tells the assistant not to add them up, and list_transactions gives the true total.
If a per-job model charged twice
That would be a bug, not a rule. Note the generation from the ledger line and write to support@luvicreator.com; a second charge for the same generation is refunded.
