What does "Too many requests" mean?

You hit a per-minute limit on an action — for example more than 60 generation submissions, 5 bulk deletions or 5 promo-code attempts in one minute — and LUVI paused it; wait a minute and the action works again.

Last updated:

Why the limit exists

Every action in LUVI is counted per account and per minute. The counters protect the service — and your credits — from runaway scripts, double-clicks and stuck browser tabs. When a counter is exceeded the request is refused with the message Too many requests — wait a moment, and nothing is charged.

The limits you could meet

ActionPer minute
Submitting generations from the Workspace60
Generating through the Claude/ChatGPT connector30
Prompt rewrite (the feather button)30
Library search120
Bulk delete, file share by email, disconnect a sign-in method5
Promo code attempts5 per account and 10 per network address

Accepting a team invitation10 per network address
Sending messages in the messenger60

Reading actions such as polling a generation's status or loading thumbnails have much higher ceilings (600 per minute) and are not something you will notice.

What to do

Wait about a minute and retry. If you were using a script or an automation, add a pause between calls. If you hit the limit without doing anything unusual, a stuck tab may be repeating a request — close other LUVI tabs and reload.

Frequently asked

Did the blocked action cost credits?

No. A request that is refused never reaches the provider and is never charged.

Does a limit affect my whole team?

No. Limits are counted per account (and for a few sensitive routes, per network address).

Can a limit be raised?

The limits are far above normal use. If a real workflow needs more, write to support@luvicreator.com with what you are doing.
