Why is my video not playing or stuck buffering?
Most playback problems come from a browser extension, a network filter or an old cached page — try a private window first; on a phone, LUVI plays a 720p rendition of every video, so a clip that will not play there is worth reporting.
Try these in order
- A private window. Ad blockers and privacy extensions sometimes block the media proxy the player uses. If the video plays in a private window, an extension is the cause — allow luvicreator.com in it.
- Another network. Corporate proxies and some VPNs interfere with range requests, which video playback depends on.
- A hard refresh. An old page can hold a stale player; reload with the cache bypassed.
- Another browser. If it plays in one and not the other, tell us which — that narrows it quickly.
How playback works
Videos are served through LUVI's own domain, not straight from storage, so that sign-in cookies and range requests work everywhere. On upload, every video also gets a scrub proxy for the timeline and a 720p rendition; phones play the rendition, laptops play the original.
On a phone
The player shows a poster frame until you press play, then plays and loops the clip. If the poster shows but play does nothing, check the network first; if the problem persists, send us the link.
Reporting
Write to support@luvicreator.com with the link of the generation, your browser and device, and whether a private window changes anything.
Frequently asked
Why does my phone show a still image before the video?
That is the poster: LUVI shows a frame from the video until playback starts, then swaps it out. Tap play or scroll the video into view.
Does the 4K original play on a phone?
No. Phones get a 720p rendition made on upload; the original is what you download and what models receive.
The video plays but has no sound?
Some models generate silent video by default, and some clips are exported without an audio track. Check the model page for an audio option.
