How do I delete my account, and can I undo it?
Account → Profile → Danger zone deactivates your account immediately and schedules permanent deletion 14 days later; LUVI emails you a restore link, and opening it within those 14 days cancels the deletion with everything intact.
Requesting deletion
- Open Account → Profile and scroll to Danger zone.
- Press Delete account, read the two-step summary, type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is deactivated at once: you are signed out, sign-in is refused, and any Claude or ChatGPT connections are revoked. LUVI sends an email with a restore link.
The 14-day window
Nothing is deleted yet. Your library, generations, projects, team memberships and remaining credits stay in place for 14 days. Opening the restore link in the email within that time reactivates the account exactly as it was.
What is deleted after 14 days
Every night LUVI purges accounts whose window has closed:
- all files in storage — uploads, generations, previews;
- projects, folders, generations, uploads, team membership and team data you owned;
- your Stripe subscription (cancelled) and customer record; past invoices stay with Stripe;
- the login itself.
A copy of the credit ledger is kept for tax and accounting retention, as the Privacy Notice describes. A final email confirms the deletion.
Before you press the button
- Download anything you want to keep; the library has a download action on every file.
- Team leaders: the request is refused while your team still has members.
- Subscriptions: you do not need to cancel separately; deletion cancels the plan.

Frequently asked
What happens to unused credits?
They are deleted with the account after the 14 days. They are not refunded and cannot be transferred; spend them or cancel the deletion before then.
I lead a team. Can I delete my account?
Not while the team still has members. Remove them or dissolve the team first, then request the deletion.
Can I sign in during the 14 days?
No. Sign-in is blocked while a deletion is pending; the restore link in the email is the way back.
