How do I share a file with a teammate?

Select the files, open Send from the context menu and choose Share with team, then pick the teammate; they get a read-only copy under a Shared folder in their library, with no extra storage used — up to 100 files per send.

Sending to a teammate

  1. In the Library, select one or more files (up to 100).
  2. Right-click → Send.
  3. Choose Share with team, search the teammate's name and confirm.

The teammate finds the files in their library under Shared → your name. What they see is a reference to your file: it opens, plays and can be used as a Workspace reference, but it is not copied, so it takes none of their storage and always shows your current version.

You can only share files you own, only with people who are in a team with you, and not with yourself.

Other rows in the Send dialog

  • Add to Team Pool — puts the file into the team's shared pool for everyone in the team.
  • Send Invite — emails another LUVI user that you shared files. The address must belong to a registered account; the email links to their Library.
  • Assign to Project — copies the file into one of your own projects.

Sharing a whole project

For ongoing work, share the project instead: the teammate becomes an editor of it and sees every folder and result, including new ones. That is done from the project card's menu, by the owner or a team leader.

Removing a share

Delete the item on the recipient's side to dismiss it; the original is untouched. Leaving or dissolving the team ends all shares in both directions.

Frequently asked

Can I share with someone outside my team?

The Send dialog also has Send Invite, which emails another LUVI user; for working together, invite them to your team or share the whole project.

Can the recipient edit or delete my file?

No. They see a copy that points to your original; removing it on their side only dismisses it.

Is there a limit?

100 files per send, and 5 sends per minute.
