What happens when I cancel my plan?

Cancelling in the billing portal stops future renewals; the credits already on your balance stay, your files stay, and your storage tier is unchanged — you simply go back to paying as you go from the next renewal date.

How to cancel

  1. Open Account → Billing and press Open portal.
  2. In Stripe's portal, choose the subscription and cancel it.
  3. Return to LUVI; the plan list shows you as no longer subscribed once Stripe confirms.

What stays

  • Your credit balance. Everything granted or bought remains and never expires.
  • Your library and projects. Nothing is deleted or locked.
  • Your storage tier. The storage settings are separate from the plan and are not touched by a cancellation.
  • Your team. Membership and sharing are not tied to a paid plan.

What stops

  • Renewals. No further charges, no further monthly grants.
  • The plan's price adjustment, if it had one. Future estimates use list prices.

Timing

LUVI marks the plan as cancelled when Stripe reports it. Credits already granted for the current period are not clawed back.

Refunds

Cancelling is not a refund. A refund of a plan payment follows the Refund Policy at /refund-policy: within 14 days and only if none of the credits from that payment were spent.

Frequently asked

Do I lose the credits from this month?

No. Credits granted by the plan are yours and do not expire.

Will my library be deleted?

No. Files and projects are untouched. Only account deletion removes them.

Can I re-subscribe later?

Yes, from the same plan list. A new subscription grants the plan's credits again on its first payment.
