Why was my upload refused?
Either the file is over the size limit — 50 MB for images, 1 GB for everything else — or it is an image LUVI cannot convert (ICO, PSD, JPEG XL), or your storage is over its cap; the message on screen says which, and the fix is to resize, re-save as JPG or PNG, or free space.
The three reasons
1. Too large
| Type | Maximum per file |
|---|---|
| Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, SVG) | 50 MB |
| Video, audio, 3D, PDF | 1 GB |
The message reads File too large (max 50 MB) or …max 1024 MB. Compress or trim the file and try again.
2. An image LUVI cannot convert
Every image is stored as JPEG or PNG so that every model and every browser can read it. Most formats convert automatically — HEIC, WebP, GIF, AVIF, TIFF, BMP and SVG all work. ICO, PSD and JPEG XL cannot be decoded and are refused with unsupported image format: save them as JPG or PNG first.
A file with the wrong extension is judged by its contents, not its name, so a HEIC renamed to .jpg is still converted correctly.
3. Storage cap reached
When your usage is above your quota you see Storage cap reached (used / quota GB). Uploads resume when you delete files, buy a larger tier, or opt into overage on Account → Storage. If overage is on but last month's charge could not be collected, the message asks you to top up credits instead.

Still failing?
A network drop during a large upload shows upload failed; retry on a stable connection. If a file inside the limits is refused repeatedly, write to support@luvicreator.com with its type and size.
Frequently asked
My PNG is 60 MB. What can I do?
Save it as a JPEG, or scale it down; models do not use more than a few thousand pixels on the long side anyway.
Why does a video over 1 GB fail?
1 GB is the hard limit per file. Trim or re-encode the clip; a 4K 10-second clip is far below the limit.
Is a refused upload charged?
No. Nothing is stored and nothing is charged.
